Effective date: March 6, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Orbinix ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Orbinix website, authenticated application, browser extension, and related services.

By accessing or using Orbinix, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy, subject to any additional disclosures or notices presented in the product.

This Privacy Policy applies to Orbinix's website, authenticated web application, browser extension, and related services that link to this policy. It describes how Orbinix handles personal information when you browse the site, sign in, upload materials, capture job listings, tailor application materials, and export documents.

We collect the information needed to provide Orbinix, including account details you provide when you sign up, resumes or CVs you upload, job descriptions you paste or capture, tailored application materials you generate, and basic account activity such as timestamps and product usage events.

When you use the Chrome extension, Orbinix may access the content of supported job-listing pages you explicitly interact with, including the job title, company name, job description, source URL, and your selected master CV. We do not use the extension to monitor unrelated browsing activity.

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, upload content, enter job descriptions, tailor documents, contact support, or otherwise interact with the product.

We also collect limited information automatically through browser technologies, server logs, analytics, extension storage, and service integrations required to operate authentication, storage, and tailoring workflows.

We use your information to operate the service, authenticate your account, tailor resumes and related materials, save application drafts, improve ATS matching, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security and reliability.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified product usage information to improve Orbinix's features, models, and user experience. We do not use your personal information to sell unrelated third-party advertising.

Where applicable, we process personal information because it is necessary to provide the services you request, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and improving Orbinix, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent where consent is the appropriate basis for processing.

If you choose to connect the browser extension, upload resume content, or use tailoring features, you are directing us to process the information needed to perform those services on your behalf.

We share information only as needed to run Orbinix, such as with infrastructure, hosting, authentication, storage, and intelligence-processing providers that support the product on our behalf. Those providers may process data only to deliver the requested service or maintain the platform.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

Orbinix uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, preserve workflow state, and protect the service from abuse. We may also collect standard technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, and crash or error logs.

The Chrome extension may store limited local preferences, such as selected CV IDs or workflow settings, on your device to improve usability.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Orbinix, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Resume files, job descriptions, and generated application materials may remain in your account until you delete them or request account deletion, subject to backup and legal retention requirements.

You can update or delete content in your account at any time through the product where those controls are available. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information through the support channels listed on Orbinix.com.

If you no longer want the extension to access supported job pages, you can remove it from Chrome at any time. Removing the extension stops future page access but does not automatically delete information already saved to your Orbinix account.

Orbinix and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps designed to ensure that the information receives an appropriate level of protection under applicable law.

Orbinix may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payment, analytics, and language-model processing. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices, but may process information only as needed to deliver services to Orbinix.

Our website or application may include links to external sites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites that are not operated by Orbinix.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Orbinix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us through the support channels on Orbinix.com so we can review and address the issue.
